The LG/CY correspondence arises upon examining Witten's vision that "there is a continuous family of conformal field theories interpolating from Landau-Ginzberg to Calabi-Yau". This led to the study of a "master theory" that gives a relation between the GW theory of quintic and the FJRW theory of the Fermat quintic.

In this talk, we will review the P-field treatment of GW theory and FJRW theory and then explain a master space construction, the Mixed-Spin-P fields, developed by Chang-Li-Li-Liu.
