An introduction to Grothendieck topology and faithfully flat descent

I will introduce the Grothendieck topology on categories and define sheaves and cohomologies under this topology. Then, I will introduce the concept of descent datum for quasi-coherent sheaves with respect to a covering and prove that all descent data for quasi-coherent sheaves with respect to a fpqc covering are effective. Finally, I will prove the Hilbert theorem 90 as an application.
