Sigma-curvature equations show up in many different fields, for example, PDEs, differential geometry, and complex geometry. There are deep connections between the existence of solutions of these equations and the geometric properties of the underlying manifold. In this mini-course, we will mainly focus on sigma-curvature equations on Kähler manifolds. I will introduce some classical examples in Kähler geometry and some recent works.
