In this talk, we will consider multiple polylogarithms in characteristic p. We explicitly construct a t- module so that the multiple polylogarithm in question occurs as some coordinate of its logarithm. We will also discuss its application to give a vanishing/non-vanishing criterion for these functions at algebraic points in the v-adic setting. This is a joint work with Y. Mishiba.
