This talk is based on the paper " On a planar Liouville-type problem in the study of selfgravitating strings" by Poliakovsky and Tarantello. I will introduce the uniqueness property for the corresponding radial solutions. This talk should be at a level suitable for graduate students interested in PDEs and Analysis.
