In this talk, I will explain a second term identity of the regularized Siegel-Weil formula for the pair (U(1,1),U(1,1)). Then I will use this identity to obtain a Rallis inner product formula for the pair (U(1),U(1,1)), which expresses the value at 1 of some Hecke L-function in terms of the inner product of two theta functions on U(1,1).
