This is a joint work with Seidai Yasuda. We define quasi-generic representations of the general linear group of a non-archimedean local field. This class includes generic representations. There exists an analogue of a new vector. We show that the local L-factor can be expressed in terms of the eigenvalues of certain explicitly given Hecke operators.
