In this talk, I would like to discuss the size estimate for the shallow shell equations. In the size estimate problem, we aim to estimate the size of an unknown embedded region by one measurement. The main tools for this problem are some quantitative uniqueness estimates for the background equations. The derivation of this kind of estimates itself is an interesting problem.
