As a continuation of the previous talk "Proper Base Change Theorem", we will prove the smooth base change theorem. In this talk, we can see how proper base change plays a role in the reductive steps of our proof. Another point of this talk is that we will introduce the notion "local acyclic morphisms", which occupy a crucial part of the proof.
