Given an irreducible and rigid confluent hypergeometric connection with real parameters, Sabbah shows that it underlies a unique variation of irregular Hodge structures up to a twist by a constant rank one irregular Hodge structure. We determine the Hodge numbers of such a connection by realizing its fiber as the de Rham cohomology of a unitary connection on a torus twisted by an exponential. (Joint work with N.Tsuzuki.)
