In this talk, we review the associated total energy, zeros of complex-valued scalar field, and finite element approach in the study of the classical Abelian Higgs vortex model. Moreover, we investigate the estimate of energy and radially symmetric solutions of BPS system. We also consider finite element method, continuity argument, monotone iteration in the BPS system.
