information
▪ Airport pickup: (invited
speakers) We will arrange
taxis/limousines
between Taiwan Taoyuan
International Airport, TPE
and math department of NTU or Howard
International
House. It is therefore
important to give us your arrival/departure times and flight numbers by
e-mail ga2007@math.ntu.edu.tw as soon
as they
are available.
▪ Title and Abstract: Please
submit your title and abstract to ga2007@math.ntu.edu.tw by May 20,
2007.
▪ Visa: Most visitors could get landing visa or visa exemption for 30 days. For general information, please see visa-info. It normally takes around three months to process the applications of Taiwan visa for those who hold passports of the People's Republic of China. For this purpose, please send the following materials as early as possible but no later than March 15 of 2007 to the secretary Yi-Chi Lin by email at ga2007@math.ntu.edu.tw: filled application form(word) or application form(pdf), one copy of the proof of current position, one copy of diploma, one copy of passport and ID, and one electronic file of 2 inch photo.

▪ Transportation: Taipei is an
international city with
attractions for almost everything. It is easily accessible within
Taiwan and from abroad. Taiwan
Taoyuan International Airport, TPE is
40-minutes away from Taipei by car. A domestic Airport (Song-Shan
Airport) is 10-minutes away from NTU by taxi. The
nearest TRTC
station to NTU is the Kungkuan
station. From Taipei Train
Station
to Kungkuan, the fare is NT$ 20. For the detail
