GPU Hands-on Course in GPU installation, programming and computational practices

The course will be held in the Astronomy Mathematics Building from Thursday 28th of June to Wednesday 4th of July (Excluding Sunday 1st of July).

Hosts
The course will be provided jointly by the National Center for High-performance Computing (NCHC) and the Taida Institute for Mathematical Sciences (TIMS).

Outline
Topics will include a general introduction and history of GPU development, a hands-on GPU assembly and installation activity, introduction to shared memory computation concepts and applications, CUDA programming and solution of Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) using CUDA and parallel computation.
